On August 2nd, global music icon, singer, songwriter, and actor Ricky Martin gave his first concert in Baku at the open-air summer venue in Sea Breeze Resort. He performed his greatest hits, such as “Maria,” “The Cup of Life,” "Adrenalina," "Nobody Wants to Be Lonely," "Livin’ la Vida Loca," and many others. The venue gathered over 10,000 people, and tickets sold out a few days before the concert.
“I’m very excited to be here. By looking at your smiles, energy, and dancing, I can tell it will be a beautiful evening. So tonight, I’m going to share my story through my music – my journey, my moments of joy and sadness, and everything in between, and it’s here in Baku,” said Ricky Martin.
The night was filled with great music, outstanding lighting effects, and vibrant dances. As is traditional for all Sea Breeze summer concerts, fireworks lit up the sky. After the electrifying performance, talented Irish multimedia artist People Like Us took the turn to set the dance floor on fire.
On the same day, Ricky Martin's star was added to the Sea Breeze Walk of Fame – an inspiring project that acknowledges the achievements of prominent people in the arts.
