On June 4, the closing and award ceremony of the children's drawing competition titled "Azerbaijan through the eyes of Moroccan children" was held in Rabat, Morocco.
The event was organized by the Embassy, the Agdal-Riyad Municipal Council, and the Arribat Center on the occasion of International Children's Day and the birthday of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan.
This competition has become a symbol of cultural ties and friendship between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Morocco. The children vividly and creatively reflected Azerbaijani culture, traditions, and national values in their drawings.
According to the decision of the jury, the first place was awarded to El Mahdi Ait Lasri. His drawing of the traditional Azerbaijani pakhlava stood out for its originality, delicacy, and warm expression, symbolizing hospitality and sweetness in Azerbaijani culture.
Second place went to Ibtissam Menay, while third place was shared by Hamza Lambarki El Allioui and Zineb Bouhamidi.
Winners received diplomas, gifts, and cash prizes.
The "Azerbaijan through the eyes of Moroccan children" drawing competition turned into a true celebration, showcasing children’s creativity, sense of taste, and sensitivity.
