Since childhood, Vafa Asadova harboured a dream of becoming an artist, inspired by the mastery of painters who could capture the essence of nature and the uniqueness of people on canvas. Her passion for drawing ignited during her school years and has been driving her towards her dream ever since.
After completing her secondary education, Vafa pursued her studies at Western Caspian University, specialising in interior design, and later successfully graduated from Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. While she enjoyed experimenting with various mediums, it was oil painting that truly captivated her. Believing that talent and ideas can lead to great results, Vafa strived for perfection. Over the course of more than 10 years, Vafa refined her craft under the guidance of esteemed artists like Tatiana Keser and Eldar Gurbanov. These invaluable experiences served as a wellspring of inspiration and learning, shaping her artistic journey in profound ways for which she remains deeply thankful to her mentors.
Finally, on February 15th, the second solo exhibition of Vafa Asadova titled "My Inspiration" took place at the cultural centre Russian House. The exhibition showcased a collection of oil and acrylic paintings, alongside table table and wall epoxy clocks crafted from natural marble, epoxy resin, and adorned with precious stones. This event marked another significant milestone in her artistic journey.
Today, Vafa Asadova is a member of the Union of Artists, continuing to captivate art enthusiasts worldwide with her remarkable creations. To explore more of her art, visit the Instagram page: @artselins_vafaasad.
