The ultimate watchmaking event of the year - Geneva Watch Days 2023, has opened its doors! Geneva once again welcomes Bulgari to share its fabulous creative heritage from 29 August to 2 September.
The Maison is coming stronger than ever with its six new creations, which portray the guiding theme of extraordinary duality of nature as materials, colours, shapes are rediscovered and reinvented anew.
Here is what to look out for on the shores of Lake Geneva in three acts:
The first touches on the Octo Finissimo saga, which continues to unfold around new materials. Following titanium, platinum, rose and yellow gold, ceramic and tantalum, the Octo Finissimo concept finds itself expressed in carbon and gold.
The second act of this autumn’s calendar shines a spotlight on Bulgari's marvellous Piccolissimo BVL 100 round miniature mechanical movement, the smallest on the market. Here, the brand offers two new models: the Serpenti Misteriosi in white gold set with over 33 carats of diamonds; and the Serpenti Misteriosi in rose gold, which combines the chromatic depth of black lacquer with the spatial volume of navette-cut diamonds. Fascinating.
Finally, the Maison has put the precious antique coins in the Monete Catene Dual Time wristwatch, which features a single denarius, a silver coin with the effigy of formidable Emperor Caracalla. This gold and diamonds covered design showcases the quintessential elements of the Bulgari style - sophistication and aesthetic mastery.
