Founded in 2004, sixth annual charity ball Fabulous Fund Fair organized by Natalia Vodianova took place in London.
36 year old supermodel and philanthropist confessed, that her sister Oksana inspired her on creating of this charity event. "They told my mother she would never live past 10 years old. She’s 30 and going strong. She’s as healthy physically as anyone else but has slight cerebral palsy and very severe autism. As a child I had never seen anyone with special needs other than my sister, because most families abandoned their children in a state institution, where they don’t really live long. Mortality rates for children such as Oksana in closed institutions are really high. Nothing can replace a family”, – explained Natalia. This year raised amount in 40 million pounds will be transferred to the families of children with special needs living in Great Britain, Russia and France.
Fashion houses, such as Celine, Givenchy, Dior, Stella McCartney and Louis Vuitton also donated in charity fund.
